A group of four students from Casuarina Primary School are tasked to work on a project, “Singapore’s Bicentennial - Evolution of Singapore”. While working on the project, they discover a magical gadget that enables them to travel through time.

Together, the students travel back in time to critical points in Singapore’s history. It begins with the encounter with Sang Nila Utama in the year 1299, the founder of Singapura, followed by the encounter with Sir Stamford Raffles in the year 1819.  The students witness the signing of the treaty on 6 February 1819.

Sir Stamford Raffles decides to accompany the students as they travel through time. With Sir Samford Raffles, the students meet the pioneers of Singapore, Mr Tan Tock Seng, Mr Naraina Pillai and Mr Munshi Abdullah.

Through their travels, the students realise how much Singapore has progressed and how brave our founding fathers and leaders had to be.

After dropping Sir Stamford Raffles off in his era, the four students realise how like the pioneers of Singapore, they must work together and embrace change so that they can look forward to an exciting future. Together, a new beginning.
