Live Nation Lushington is proud to present one of Japan’s most popular and creative music acts, SEKAI NO OWARI. They will perform live in Singapore for the very first time on 5 March 2017 (Sunday) at The Coliseum, Hard Rock Hotel, Resorts World Sentosa.

Tickets from S$118 go on sale to public on 20 January (Fri), 10am. VIP tickets at S$168 are also available. As the official pre-sale credit card, Citi® card customers will have access to purchase pre-sale tickets beginning 18 January (Wed), 10am through 19 January (Thu), 11.59pm.

The group, whose name means “end of the world”, formed in 2005 and comprises of four distinctly talented members: Nakajin (group leader, lead guitar, sound production); Fukase (lead vocals, group conceptualist); Saori (stage production, piano); and the masked clown DJ LOVE (comedic stage banter).

Since their debut, they have released 3 albums and various singles as well as their own documentary film “Tokyo Fantasy”. Their latest album “Tree”, released in 2015 went to #1 on the Oricon charts and was certified 2x platinum by the RIAJ (Recording Industry Association of Japan). They also scored several Top 2 singles on the Oricon charts and Billboard Japan Hot 100 with songs like “RPG”, “Snow Magic Fantasy”, “Hono to Mori no Carnival”, “SOS” and more. Their massive 2013 hit “RPG” has reached more than 110 million views on Youtube.

In 2014 the group collaborated with American act Owl City on his single “Tokyo”. They also worked with renowned Dutch DJ / Producer Nicky Romero on the release of their hit single “Dragon Night”. SEKAI NO OWARI also performed the official theme songs for the Attack on Titan movies based on the world-famous comic book – “Anti-Hero” and “SOS”.

In 2015, SEKAI NO OWARI’s two shows at Japan’s largest venue, Nissan Stadium which seats 70,000 people, sold out in a matter of hours. They have performed all over Japan, including a 9-city, 15-performance arena tour that brought in more than 200,000 fans, and have sold out the legendary Budokan (of Beatles fame).

The band is now ready to take their originality and imaginative shows to music fans overseas, having toured in countries like the US, Korea, China, and Taiwan where their 2015 gig sold out in under two minutes. In 2016, they became the first Japanese artist to join the MTV World Stage in Malaysia. They also performed at Hong Kong’s Clockenflap Festival in November.
